A closer look

Materials & Making

This muffler keeps the Yak fibre’s natural brown shade, with no dyeing stage added. The yarn is prepared by hand from the hank, then the warp is built by positioning each thread individually. Once the loom is ready, the Yak-and-Merino blend is woven in pine twill, whose crossing threads create a subtle, directional surface. The final cloth preserves the earthy colour of the fibre itself, bringing nature’s original palette together with skilled handloom work.
