Materials & Making

The Angora-and-Merino fibres retain their natural shades, so the process moves directly from yarn preparation to weaving without added dye. The hank is prepared by hand for warp-making, and each thread is carefully placed and aligned on the loom. Pine twill is then formed through the deliberate interlacing of warp and weft, creating a fine texture within the clean, plain design. The last woven pass completes a fabric that lets the fibre’s own light shade speak for itself.
